  1. Mary, this is great. I really love the way you have captured a Jane Austen sense of humour eg the scene where Darcy is catching up on news about Mr Collins. It made me smile imagining your description of the scene.

    Your writing is imbued with an Austenesque style.I now I couldn't do that.

    I anguish over the wording in an e-mail to a mate.

  3. Oh, this is lovely! This was such an entertaining chapter. You really have a great sense of humour. It was interesting to read a conversation between Charlotte and Darcy. This is so rare, but I liked it. I bet Charlotte will be very pleased to have Lizzy over for a visit now that Darcy is here and interested in Lizzy.;)
    Great! I'm off to part 2, yay!
