When I was younger, I didn't understand why Anne couldn't just speak out and tell the Captain she loved him or why the Captain didn't come back at least once to see her. ReplyDeleteI also ordered Persuasion- which I had never heard of before... I started reading it last night, so 'Anne Elliot' is going to have to wait until I finish this first. But I'm quite excited for it.

ReplyDeleteI hope you both enjoy Anne Elliot. I had such a good time writing it. It's the funniest thing I've ever written, and although I did take liberties (after all, Anne is a jogger), I was faithful to the love story and their characters. :)
